The international conference had more than 650 researchers, academicians, extension officers, and administrators from different colleges, universities, research organizations, and government agencies from other countries and here in the Philippines. Foreign and local participants presented different studies. The research Coordinator in the person of <strong>Dr. Rolando A. Alimen<\/strong> presented the study entitled<strong> &#8220;Adopt-A-tree Program of the Maritime University: Learnings and Challenges towards Environmental Education (EE) and Global Warming Mitigation (GWM)&#8221;<\/strong> at the international conference. This study was co-authored also by<strong> Mr. Robert O. Parcia,<\/strong> administrator of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University-Molo, Iloilo City, Philippineds.
