The Philippine Society for Educational Research and Evaluation (PSERE), Inc. held its 30th Annual Conference at the Librada Avelino Auditorium, Centro Escolar University, Mendiola, Manila last May 29-31, 2023.<\/p>\n

John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Arevalo), Inc. campus sent participants to the said event. Second Mate Loren Steve G. Glumalid, a BSMT Faculty, presented a research titled Faculty and Students\u2019 Feedback on the Use of JeL and the Academic Performance of Students in Deckwatch 1 (Collision Regulation), and emerged as a Champion among the best paper presenters.<\/p>\n

Only one award was given throughout the two-day conference, and JBLFMU (Arevalo), Inc. turned out to be the over-all winner among all presenters.<\/p>\n

The paper titled Status of Students\u2019 Mental Health during Pandemic: Basis for the Development of Student Enhancement Program was given through a poster presentation by 2\/M Karl Danielle H. Sira with his co-authors Dr. Brian Gil S. Sarinas, and Rohena Z. Miranda, M.A. Ed., RGC.<\/p>\n

Also present in the event were Engr. Roderick R. Germo, Ph.D., a BSMT Faculty member who received the award as Associate Research Fellow (ARF) and Dr. Geneva M. Eler, Dean of the JBLFMU (Arevalo), Inc. Graduate School who received the award as Research Fellow (RF).<\/p>\n
