JBLCF-Bacolod Conducts Institutional Feedback Review and Action Planning Workshop

Bacolod City | May 14–15, 2026

The John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation-Bacolod successfully conducted its two-day Institutional Feedback Review and Action Planning Workshop at Audio-Visual Room 1, bringing together the Unit Administrator and department heads in a collaborative effort to strengthen institutional effectiveness, stakeholder engagement, and continuous quality improvement.

The workshop aimed to review and evaluate institutional survey results, assess the effectiveness of previous action plans, and formulate strategic interventions based on stakeholder feedback and research findings. Everyone in attendance actively participated in workshops, discussions, evaluations, and planning sessions focused on improving institutional programs, services, and practices.

The first day of the workshop opened with a prayer and a values-sharing session centered on “Excellence in Working as a Team,” emphasizing collaboration, accountability, adaptability, and collective success among institutional leaders. Participants were reminded to approach stakeholder feedback with professionalism, objectivity, and openness, recognizing constructive criticism as an opportunity for institutional growth and continuous improvement.

Key presentations during the workshop included the results of the 2025–2026 Stakeholders’ Satisfaction Survey, Dissatisfaction Survey, Engagement Survey, Core Values Survey, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Survey. The sessions provided the administration with comprehensive insights into the perceptions, experiences, and concerns of students, employees, alumni, and parents.

A series of workshops were also conducted to evaluate the implementation and outcomes of the institution’s 2024–2025 action plans. These workshops focused on stakeholder satisfaction, engagement, core values, and research utilization, ensuring that previously identified recommendations were properly addressed and documented.

On the second day, participants formulated new action plans based on the 2025-2026 stakeholder feedback and survey findings. Workshops covered areas such as stakeholder concerns, dissatisfaction themes, employee and student engagement, core values development, and DEI initiatives. The sessions emphasized the importance of creating SMART, evidence-based, attainable, and measurable interventions that departments can implement and evaluate effectively.

The Research and Development Center who spearheaded this two-day activity through the leadership of Dr. Emeliza Estimo, Unit Research Coordinator, gave high premium to JBLCF-Bacolod’s strong commitment to participatory governance, data-driven decision-making, and continuous institutional improvement. By systematically reviewing stakeholder feedback and collaboratively developing responsive action plans, the institution strengthens its capacity to provide quality education, improve organizational culture, and foster a more inclusive, responsive, and student-centered learning environment.

The Institutional Feedback Review and Action Planning Workshop further reinforced JBLFMU’s culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence, ensuring that the voices of stakeholders remain integral in shaping institutional policies, programs, and future directions.
