CAQDAS Training Workshop Equips JB Researchers

A  leap forward in research capabilities took place as six members of the JBLCF-Bacolod Research Committee triumphantly completed the Computer-Assisted Qualitative Data Analysis Software (CAQDAS) Training Workshop. Held virtually from January 19 to 21, 2023, with Dr. Jovito Anito, Jr. as the speaker-trainer, this transformative workshop immersed the following participants in advanced data analysis methodologies.

The workshop’s primary focus was to familiarize participants with Orange, a powerful software designed to analyze qualitative data comprehensively. Another innovative addition was, a cutting-edge tool that enables seamless recording and transcription of qualitative data from interviews and focus group discussions. Notably, both software applications are available for free download from the web, reinforcing accessibility and ease of Integration.
